They are for use on Class A Fires (solid materials such as wood, paper, textiles etc), Class B Fires (flammable liquids such as petrol, paints, solvents etc), Class C Fires (gases such as propane, butane, natural gases etc).

Particularly suitable for use on vehicles having to meet the requirements of the Carriage of Dangerous Goods by Road (ADR) regulations.

Refilling/Servicing: Should be carried out annually to BS 5306 Part 3, 2009. After complete or partial use the extinguisher should be refilled to BS 6643 Part 1, 1985. Both refilling and servicing to be carried out by a competent person.
